Method 1

The modern method in the fight against these insects is the use of a fly trap operating with ultraviolet radiation. Its work is that this device emits ultraviolet light that attracts flies. It consists of gratings that produce current. Sitting on such a trap for flies, insects die.

Important! This device is environmentally friendly and is used, for maximum effect, in the dark.

Method 2

If you don’t want insects to fly into the room at all, buy a fly repeller. This device acts by emitting ultrasonic waves that repel insects very well.

Method 3

The most common type of fly trap is Velcro. There are a lot of manufacturers of such products.

As a standard, it consists of a tape treated with glue, on which a special bait is applied. Sitting on this tape, the insect cannot fly away from it, since its legs are already glued to it.

How to make do-it-yourself fly traps?

Homemade baits are quite simple in their manufacture and effective. Choose and apply the most suitable fly trap option for you from the following.

Option 1

Use a plastic bottle as a trap for flies. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Take a plastic bottle.
2. Cut off its upper part.
3. Turn over the cut part.
4. Insert it with its neck down (without cork) in the remainder of the plastic bottle.
5. At the bottom of the bottle, pour sweet syrup or jam.

Important! Flies will crawl through a thin hole to the bottom of the bait to enjoy sweets, and will not be able to get back.

Option 2

Do it yourself tape. For this you will need:

1. 200 g of castor or linseed oil.
2. 300 g of rosin or resin.
3. 60 g of sugar, honey, glycerin - for bait.
4. Paper tape.

Next, follow these steps, as a result of which you will get an excellent trap for flies:

1. Melt rosin or resin in a water bath.
2. Add castor or linseed oil, honey, sugar and glycerin.
3. Stir the resulting mixture.
4. Apply it on paper tape.
5. Hang it where pests fly you tired.

Option 3

This fly trap is efficient and easy to manufacture. Make it this way:

1. Take the can.
2. Peel a banana, preferably overripe.
3. Cut it into pieces and put on the bottom of the jar.
4. Cover the jar with polyethylene instead of a lid.
5. Make small holes in it.
6. Put the bait in the place where the insects fly.

Option 4

1. Take a glass jar of 1 liter.
2. Pour 200-300 ml of syrup or sweet juice into it.
3. Put a few drops of liquid soap or detergent for dishes in a jar (it will prevent the insect from flying back out).
4. Fold a sheet of paper with a cone, the sharp end of which should be no more than 5-8 mm.
5. Insert it with a thin end into the jar.
6. The bait is ready.
