Cute vase from an old light bulb

You can make very beautiful miniature flower vases from old burnt out light sources:

• First you need to disassemble the light bulb. To do this, take a screwdriver, pliers or a penknife and use them to remove all the elements - an insulator, a contact and a glass tube inside.

Important! In principle, the analysis of the light bulb should not cause you any special difficulties, but you need to work very carefully, since sharp and careless actions can irreparably ruin the glass ceiling.

• A light bulb disassembled and free from entrails is a ready-made vase. You can make a desktop version on a stand, or hanging on a wire, a terrarium of moss, aerophytes or succulents.

Such vases will become an original decoration for a summer house and home.

To create such an article from light bulbs with your own hands, like a lamp, you have to stock up on the following:

1. Twenty burnt copies.
2. One working light source.
3. Braid and cord.
4. Cartridge.
5. Scissors.
6. Felt-tip pen.
7. Glue or Velcro.

The sequence of manufacture of the lamp is as follows:

• Put five bulbs so that you get an isosceles pentagon.
• In those places where they touch each other, mark them with a felt-tip pen.
• At the points obtained, glue the bulbs with glue or round Velcro.
• Continuing in exactly the same way, glue all the burned out light sources so that you end up with a ball.

Important! In the same way, you can create any other shape, for example, a cube.

• In the center of the resulting lampshade, insert a working light source in the cartridge.

Mini terrarium

In the old, blown incandescent lamp, you can even arrange a miniature terrarium. For this:

• Set the flask free of internal parts on four silicone self-adhesive stands.
• Fill the bottom with sand or fine gravel (sand can be colored and laid in layers.

Important! The easiest way to sprinkle sand is to use a straw.

• Sprinkle a small amount of earth, mixed with long-acting fertilizers, on top of the sand.
• Now use tweezers to plant the plants.

Important! For such a mini-terrarium, various types of moss and succulents are suitable, which are little stretched in height.

• Make a cute little hat to your taste to mask the metal base of the light source.

Important! Alternatively, you can use a tourniquet, tinsel or ribbons.
